He said to Mahira that they need new VJs, and she seemed suitable for the position. Mahira refused him many times that she doesn’t want to be a VJ nor a movie star. And Ghazanfar Ali said to her that she will be a movie star too but before that they need a VJ in her.
MTV Pakistan was newly launched at that time, so Indus Music was out of VJs due to everyone moved to MTV. She was requested to do a few shows for Indus Music. After, she started to love her work. Then, Mahira was offered Bol by Shoaib Mansoor but then she went for Humsafar by Hum TV.
Time flies so fast, we used to see Mahira as a VJ and now she’s an internationally recognized superstar of Pakistan.
