Mahira Khan is a superstar of Pakistan who is also equally famous across the borders. She started her career in Pakistan entertainment Industry as a VJ. She then stepped into dramas and made the most famous drama Hamsafar with the star Fawad Khan. Their on-screen couple was a peak for Mahira. After a lot of hard work and struggles, she made a debut in Bollywood with Shahrukh Khan in “Raees”.
Mahira Khan got many more chances working in Bollywood but due to the sudden tension aroused between the two nations, India and Pakistan. Her all contracts got cancelled at the 11th hour, and she left with no options than working in her own country.
She came live in an interview with Film Companion’s Anupama Chopra when she told about her exposure working in India. Mahira said that she was offered many projects, but she was confused if people would accept it or not. She has got to know now that politics shouldn’t have any involvement in her choices.
